Any gym would have a PT to make up a program, but sticking to one might be difficult without a motivating support person. Having to report your weekly achievements, activities, goals and successes to someone could be highly motivating.
Each person has different things they find motivating, whether it be rewards of any kind, praise, recording of success or getting closer to a big goal.
I can provide lighter or more interesting ways of keeping fit without attending a gym. Being kind to yourself, and viewing your body with love is important. For example I know my legs could be a lot more toned than they are, but because of some back issues I can’t invest as much energy in to working on them as I’d need, but I still love them, they allow me to walk!
When I talk about diet, I don’t mean starving yourself silly or keeping up with some trend. I believe every person has different dietary needs, and you need to find a suitable path of making the body as healthy as potentially possible. Loving your body and treating it with respect, like a temple you are given for the whole lifetime to look after and enjoy is an intrinsic part of achieving your goals. Be kind to yourself. Don’t eat yourself up if you break your rules, it’s only a reason to rethink what made you slip up, and find the mental patterns which cause it. With those being fixed, you won’t have the desire to eat unhealthy foods or over eat for emotional feel good short lived happiness.
Often small changes, make a huge difference in how you feel about yourself, have more energy, less inflammation around the body, less aches and pains and better sleep.
Speaking of sleep, having a good routine, deep sleep to allow recovery, could be a huge factor in enjoying life.
